GREENVILLE, SC, January 3, 2007—828’s Chairman Collection was created in honor of the company’s late president, Jim Clardy. The designs were donated by Ian Wallace, president of Forte Cloth, a highly respected design firm based in Worcestershire, England. Wallace beautifully echoes Clardy’s warmhearted personality in a range of transitional designs that are open and inviting; perfect for today’s relaxed interiors.

Included in the initial launch are eight styles which are hand-tufted in India of 100% wool. A hard-twist yarn is used to give the rugs a textural quality that is comfortable and relaxed. All designs in 828’s Chairman’s Collection are offered in standard sizes and affordably priced with a 5' x 8' retailing for $499.
