Melanie Hayim

GREENVILLE, SC, November 5, 2005— 828 International names Melanie Hayim to the newly created position of Business Development Manager. In this position, Hayim will be responsible for sales in Missouri, Nebraska and Kansas, and will also be involved in the company’s product development and merchandising efforts. She reports to Mark Ferullo, vice president of 828 International, and is based in Chesterfield, Missouri.

Hayim has more than 18 years experience in the flooring industry, most recently as Director of Broadloom Merchandising for the ProSource Division of CCA Global. Prior to this position, Hayim’s career primarily centered around area rugs. She has held management positions on both the retail and manufacturing sides of the business, working for industry leaders ABC Carpet and Home in Delray Beach, FL, Baker Brothers in Phoenix, AZ, Shaw Rugs in Ringold, GA, and Couristan in Fort Lee, NJ. In addition to having a successful track record in sales, marketing, and operations, Hayim has a solid background in product development and rug fabrication.
